2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process your subscription, free trial, and billing through Stripe
- Set up and operate your Practice Area Monitors, including using artificial intelligence to conduct the onboarding chat, build your monitoring profile, judge which new filings are relevant to your monitors, and write plain-English summaries

AI Processing
The Service is AI-native: the content you provide to configure monitoring (your onboarding chat messages, monitoring profile, keywords, and dismiss feedback) is processed by artificial intelligence models operated by our AI provider, Anthropic, acting as a service provider on our behalf. This processing is used to run your monitors and generate your alerts. We do not use your content to train our own or third-party foundation models.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional and alert email delivery), Supabase (database hosting and authentication), DigitalOcean (server infrastructure), Vercel (website hosting), Anthropic (AI processing, as described above), and Google Analytics (website usage analytics). These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy and data protection terms.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Protection of Rights: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of OmniLegislation™, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
4. Data Sources and Public Records
OmniLegislation™ aggregates publicly available legal data, including legislation, agency regulations, and court opinions from government and public-record sources. This data is public record and is not considered your personal information. Our platform processes and summarizes this public data using artificial intelligence to deliver alerts to subscribers.
5. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your account information, monitoring configuration, and alert history for as long as your account is active, so that your monitors keep working and your dashboard history remains available. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your information for a reasonable period to fulfill legal and business obligations (such as tax and billing records), after which it is securely deleted.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing hello@omnilegislation.com. We will delete your personal information within 30 days of a verified request, except for records we are legally required to keep (such as billing records held by Stripe).
Search logs and usage data are retained for platform analytics and anti-abuse purposes and are periodically purged. Onboarding chat sessions from prospects who do not subscribe are retained only as long as needed to operate and improve the onboarding experience.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL)
- Encrypted database storage with access controls
- Payment processing handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
- Passwordless sign-in links and secure session management
- Monitoring of platform access and usage patterns
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
